1/3 Salt Cellar
The design of the salt cellar is based on the Danish Health Authority's recommendation to reduce the daily salt intake by 1/3 on average.
The shape is designed to be interpreted as a pie chart, of which 1/3 of the top is closed and 1/3 of the underside is removed. The two different markings together create a handle for the salt cellar.
